In plain terms

Thirty days from purchase, for any reason. Email support, or reply to your Paddle receipt, and say “refund”. Paddle returns the money to the original payment method, usually within five working days. The licence key is then deactivated. Nothing else is required: no form, no reason, no call.

If the plugin is not what you needed, ask for your money back within 30 days and you will get it. You do not have to justify the request, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

Why a digital product can still be refunded

Nothing is “returned” when you refund software — you keep the files, because the code is GPL and we could not take it back if we wanted to. That is not a reason to keep your money. If a plugin did not do what we said it would, the sale should not have happened, and the honest response is to undo it.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with the email address you bought with, or the order number from your receipt. That is the whole process. You may also request a refund directly from Paddle, who took the payment.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and usually appear within five to ten working days depending on your bank.

Tell us why, if you can face it

Not a condition — you will get the refund either way. But if the plugin was broken, or the page promised something it does not do, we would rather know than not. Most of what is worth fixing was found this way.

The narrow exceptions

We will decline a refund in two cases, and we will tell you which one:

The 30 days have passed. Ask anyway if something is badly wrong; a rule that has never been bent is usually being used to avoid a conversation.
Repeated buy-and-refund. Buying the same plugin, refunding it, and buying it again is a way of not paying for it. The GPL gives you the code; it does not make the licence free.

Then Envato took your money, not us, and Envato’s refund policy is the one that applies. We cannot refund a purchase we were not paid for. Support still comes from us — write to us about the plugin, and to Envato about the money.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here reduces any right you have under the consumer law of your own country. Where that law gives you more than 30 days, you have more than 30 days.
